This Wednesday’s Italian Supercoppa pits reigning Serie A champions Inter against last year’s Coppa Italia victors Juventus, and a tight and competitive affair is anticipated between two solid defensive outfits.
And for the hesgoal Inter Juve Live have won their last eight Serie A games after Sunday’s 2–1 home victory over Lazio.
Simone Inzaghi’s team have kept six clean sheets during that run, and boast Serie A’s second-best defensive record, shipping just 16 goals in 20 games.
Inter will have home advantage for their supercoppa clash with old rivals Juve, and have not lost at San Siro since a Champions League reverse to Real Madrid in early September.
Juventus came roaring back from 3-1 down to earn a huge 4-3 win over Roma on Sunday, remaining within touching distance of Italy’s top four.

Despite conceding three at the Stadio Olimpico, Juve have the joint-third best defensive record in Serie A, when adjusted for goals conceded per game, and Max Allegri’s side have kept five clean sheets in their last eight outings.
Inter can make home advantage count
With both sides recording impressive defensive statistics, a goal-fest should not be expected on Wednesday night.
Italy’s two best-supported clubs shared a cagey 1-1 draw on this ground in October, while their only previous Supercoppa meeting saw the Nerazzurri emerge with a 1-0 extra-time win in 2005.
With Inter possessing home advantage, and with the Old Lady losing star attacker Federico Chiesa to an ACL injury, backing the Nerazzurri to lift the first silverware of the Italian season looks a strong play.
